Bottenvikens Stuveri AB resides in and has it head office in Pitea. Our main business consists of loading and unloading vessels as well as supplying complementary services to this line of business, such as land transport, warehousing, clearance etc. We run our business from four ports: Skelleftea, Pitea, Lulea and Kalix.

Two subsidiary companies are part of the group of companies; their business is closely related to the core operation of the Parent company. Bay of Bothnia AB run shipping agencies, while Broderna Svardsudd Traktorer AB is a contractor with machine and transportation undertakings. The group of companies’ turnover amounts to approximately 200 million SEK per year.

We consider ourselves to be a company who offers full service to the shipping industry as well as trade and industry in the counties of Norrbotten and Vasterbotten. The Parent company employs 130 people and has approximately 80 vehicles, handle 5 million tonnes of cargo annually at our ports. The subsidiary companies have a further 20 employees and they have access to approximately 20 vehicles.

Our vision is to play an active role in the development of trade and industry in Norrbotten and Vasterbotten, by securing an efficient and environmentally friendly way of handling cargo in the ports where we are established. We want to be known for a high level of competence, quality, good service and efficiency.
